The two cabins are about 125' apart and share a hot tub. The yurts are 150' apart and eachhave their own hot tubs. All are situated on 6.6 acres with plenty of room for parking, bonfires, or a walk to Wildberry restaurant for a burger, pie, or Nepalese food! Come back and relax by your own fire pit as each unit has their own outside area! Cabins fully remodeled in the summer of 2019 and the yurts are new summer of 2020/21. Mini split heat pumps provide primary heating/cooling with backup propane heat in the cabins and wood stove in the yurt. Kitchenette with range, microwave, fridge, freezer, pots, pans, toaster oven, and coffee grinder with french press, and bbq. All have memory foam mattresses, down comforters, and mattress heaters in winter. The yurt has a private hot tub. Cabins and yurt require 4 steps for entry and then are a single level inside.

Fantastic Cabin

We only stayed one night at the Fern Cabin, but what a wonderful experience. The cabin is even better in person! We appreciated all the attention to detail and what a nice touch to offer fresh coffee beans and two type of coffee creamers! Next time we pass through Mt. Rainer, we will be sure to stay again!

A perfect stay!

Can't recommend Fern's Cabin enough, one of the best stays we've ever had. The space was perfect for two and had every amenity you could think to use or need on a trip to Mount Rainier National Park. It was really well thought out and made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Not to mention the hot tub after a long day hiking!

Perfect location!

The Fern cabin was everything we had hoped for. Our stay went seamlessly and we had a great time here. The cabin was beyond cute and such a relaxing spot for us to land every night. The location was conveniently located right outside of Mt. Rainier NP and allowed us to get up early for morning hikes. It was close enough that we could pop out of the park to take a break/eat meals that we could prepare in the kitchenette. The owners have dogs and we got to watch them chase each other through the property and it was so fun to watch them all be so happy! We cant wait to recommend this place to our friends and family.

Excellent Stay!

The cabin was perfect, it had all the amenities that we needed and the proximity to the park entrance was the best part. Overall the bed was extremely comfortable and with all the heating available we never felt cold. Anytime we come back to the area we would 100% stay here again. The cabin is private enough that it gives you your own little isolated paradise. 10/10

Great experience!!

Our family (2 adults and 1 young child) stayed at the Foxglove Yurt this past weekend. We had an amazing time! The yurt was beautiful, clean, and was obviously well cared for! The amenities were great! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after spending the day exploring Mt Rainier. It was so nice to have a kitchenette that we were able to use and was stocked with the supplies needed so we didn't have to lug everything with us. Garth was very friendly, and informative on the area before we even arrived. Fern, his friendly dog, was a joy to spend a little time with. All in all, we had a great time, and look forward to visiting again sometime.

GREAT!!

Visiting from Wisconsin and wanted a place close to Mt. Rainier but also private. This place was perfect! And the host was very thoughtful in providing for all you needed plus some extras. Would go back again! And have already shared info with others for them to check it out. Thanks Garth and Fern the dog!

Best Stay

We had the best 2 nights in the Fern cabin. We were in town to explore Mt Rainier and the location could not be better! The cabin was well stocked and comfortable - very nice after long days of hiking.

LOVED OUR STAY!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Foxglove!!! What a cool place to stay! It was very comfortable and we loved the decor with so many little details and amenities to make us comfortable! We loved the outside features as well. We used the little Solo stove firepit and took full advantage of the hot tub both nights! It was peaceful, quiet and cool to hear wildlife right outside the back of the yurt at night. We have no idea what we heard, but it was still cool! We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. We visited Mt. Rainier NP and it was only a short drive to the park! Great communication with host as well!!!

Rainier Rambles

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Fern cabin and wish we lived closer so we could return to this idyllic spot regularly. Location could NOT be better…walking distance from the park entrance, but tucked away in the woods for privacy. Cabin is beautifully designed and perfectly stocked. Garth and Fern are generous, informative, and welcoming hosts. LOVED our stay here!
